Express Employment Professionals
Originally from North Carolina USA, Curt Allison has over 10 years experience in recruitment and staffing. An accomplished corporate strategist and marketer, his vision and expertise in business performance have driven notable growth in many different franchises around the world. The most notable growth Curt has spearheaded is taking his own Express office from Circle of Merit to the prestigious Circle of Excellence group of high producing offices.
Curt worked in the corporate offices of Express Employment Professionals in Oklahoma City, Okla., for over four years in franchisee customer support. Part of his responsibilities included opening new Express offices throughout the United States and Canada. During the first week of operations, Curt was responsible to work with and coach the inside recruiters as they interviewed and screened applicants, filled incoming job orders, and conducted ongoing quality control checks with client companies. Curt also ensured that the new Express office was set up properly and fully functioning by the end of their first week in business.
In 1998, Curt moved to Vancouver and opened his own Express Employment Professionals office in Coquitlam, BC serving the Tri-City and Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadow areas. Express Employment Professionals provides temporary and permanent placement services in the areas of office administration, accounting, sales as well as warehousing and general labour. Helping people succeed is important to Curt. He says, “For many people who have lost their jobs, often through no fault of their own, we provide great hope. Our mission is to help people find jobs and our client companies find good employees, and to help those clients to make those jobs and those employees even better."
Offering a rare blend of creative and operational strengths, Curt has achieved exciting company and product turnarounds and is recognized for his success in growing sales and profits. Because of this and his ability to lead his team to well over $3.5 million in sales, Express Employment Professionals in Coquitlam is recognized as the British Columbia Training Office for all new Express offices opening in BC. Curt is also on the Board of Directors for the Tri-City Chamber of Commerce. Curt has plans to take his Express office to even greater heights in 2008. With plans to expand his Coquitlam office, as well as exciting new recruitment and retention strategies for this low employment market, there are no doubts that 2008 will be Curt’s most successful year to date.
Curt leads two “smoking” gospel choirs and is a freelance musician in Vancouver where he resides with his partner David and their Daschund, Toro.
